I am a Californian of more than three generations, living on the east coast now. I remember when the City was a great place- a little bit eccentric- but still a terrific place to be. It just kills me to listen to the crap on that website and others like it coming from 'Californians' who almost invariably moved there from somewhere else.

It's far worse now than it ever been.

I know I grew up in California, I loved it dearly. It was a beautiful state. My brother lived in San Jose and I worked in the City for awhile. I lived in Aptos and took the train from San Jose to the City. Yes I know what you mean. It began to change rather drastically after Dukmejian left office.

When I was transferred to TEXAS I didn't no what to expect. But Texas is my home and strangely enough just as beautiful as California. California left me. and Texas adopted me. I'm home
