Matt Drudge, blog-father of the Web publishing movement known as blogging, stuck out his rumor-mongering neck and called the presidential election for George W. Bush ahead of the more restrained old-media pack on election night.
"Bush wins," proclaimed the Drudge Report Web site at 1 a.m. yesterday.

As much as anything, the 2004 Election was a referendum on the "Mainstream Newsmedia", especially the
Washington Post, the
New York Times, and CNNNBCCBSABC, and the so-called "journalists" who deliver its propaganda. The American people resoundingly rejected and repudiated them and the Propaganda Machine that they serve!
They are now a reviled laughing stock.
Matt Drudge explained it all to them several years ago. Too bad (for them) they lacked the wit--and the honesty--to understand what he told them.

Judging from this piece in the Washington Post, these people haven't learned anything.

I did not see any mention of FR. They even gave Powerline most of the cedit for exposing the 60 minutes documents.

When will these idiot MSM people learn what a Blogger is?
A Blogger is a single individual operation his/own own website.
FR is not a Blog.
BobJ had to set Paula Zahn straight about this also.
FR is rather unique. A bulletin board plus. It's software is what makes it unique, I think.
