Didn't Zogby cheat by using exit polls to forecast his final polls? This post has Zogby's predictions.

The exit polls were wrong because somebody leaked to the Kerry Campaign or DNC where and when the polls were to be conducted. The pollsters were flooded with people sent by the campaign to be there at the right time.
The networks believed what they were being told, and the bloggers had nothing to do with it.

"If we go back in history to prior presidential elections, those exit polls were dead on," said Dennis Simon, a political scientist at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. "Something has changed to make them less dead on." They have ceased to be a tool of measurement. They are now seen by Democrats as a tool by which said Democrats can manipulate the outcome. Thus, they are not accurate reflections of reality.

The exit poll "discrepancy" is being used to fuel post-election activism by the Left. Go look at DU for examples.
It could be that the polls were jiggered then leaked by the lefties, just to provide ammo for claims of fraud later.
"After all in civilized countries like Mexico and Haiti they use exit polls to prevent fraud" or similar has cropped up several times here and there.
So the strategery has not worked yet, but the jiggered leaked poll data can still be used to slam the pajamahadeen and decrease their prestige for a while.

How ridiculous is that Zogby tried to incorporate exit poll data into his final predictions?
But how much do you want to bet Reuters will still sponsor him next time?

Since this was done deliberately to suppress the conservative vote, it's a civil rights violation.
The Kerry campaign was a little too clumsy to be fully effective. By the time they got Pennsylvania showing a 20 point Kerry margin, everyone's BS Meter was active.

I wonder if anyone ever thought that America is sick and tired of all these exit polls and other polls so they just plain lied because it is no ones business who someone votes for. Not to mention maybe us republicans know that no matter what the polls would say, we will turn out to vote because we do know that every vote counts. And that most liberals couldn't be bothered if they think their guy is going to win anyway. So we all lied to make the liberals stay home(LOL).........
BTW does anyone have which monastery that George Soros went to so I can send him a condolence card(G)?

The Bush people saw major defeat: Preliminary numbers showed the president a staggering 20 points behind in Pennsylvania and losing in every other closely contested state. Not all of us, some of us remembered 2000. WHile they were writing President Bushs political epitaph up here on New England radio, I was confident Bush would win Ohio, Florida and the election. Never wavered.

showing Kerry with a small lead in key battleground states20 point lead in PA is small?
I must say that I take some perverse delight in knowing that the Kerry campaign spent the afternoon celebrating and were stupefied when the votes were counted. Tee Hee.
