It is ridiculous here! All of the city officials have gone democrat. We did get a few county republicans in...thanks to Eudora, I'm sure. Ryun won, but just because there is only a small section of Lawrence in his district.

My entire neighborhood was filled with Kerry signs. Unfortunately, the Republican Headquarters never answers their phones, I couldn't find an e-mail address for them, I went to get Bush signs, but couldn't ever catch them open. The democrats put ads in the paper for signs, etc. Something needs to change. Whether Kansas goes red is one thing, but every vote counts in the popular totals and they don't really seem to care here.

I graduated from the University of Kansas in May 2004-it is probably one of the most liberal college campuses in the nation!

It was just the opposite here. (Mid-Missouri). The Republicans were well organized and motivated. Your area may need a good leader and motivator...how about YOU?? (Don't misunderestimate a Freeper :)

That should have been Bill Wagnon. Whatever.

I read that the DG Co. Rep. Headquarters has had two vandalism incidents this week. Two rocks thrown into the windows. Yes, Lawrence could use some work.
