"Leave America, and leave it to them? No way. Got to slug it out," Seymour Hersh says in a chat. He's asked why the news media "isn't making more of a stink" about the secretive White House. His reply: "The major media have been part of the problem since 9-11, merely because they have far too often taken the president's public utterances at face value. There also is a terrific unwillingness, perhaps understandable (though not by me), to make a moral judgment about a president's policies. There are plenty of people on the inside who are worried about the policies, especially among military guys, and I'm sure their views will increasingly become known."

Heh. His Abu Grhaibe prison scandal failed to propel a Donk into the presidency. ESAD Seymour!
Hey Seymore, how about making a stink about the Reporters and Journalists inside the Kerry Campaign who saw how disorganized he is, how lost and confused his platform was, and who saw all the various backstabbing during these last 6 months but never reported on it?
Michael Moore of the Printed word
great line!
It is the ultimate feather in the cap.
Mr. Hersh was not able to Woodward and Bernstein the President with Abu Ghraib and he is literally beside himself with rage.
Hit the road Sy!
Seymour who?
Is this guy advocating making every news piece an editorial?
APf
"Moores" the pity.
Oh, come on, Seymour. You'll love it in North Korea.
Actually, Hersh is quoting an unnamed source...
Seymoore Butts.
Hersh (then at the NYT) first reported on Watergate and was even more critical to the unraveling of the scandal than Woodward and Bernstein. Ever since then, he has been living in the shadow of his earlier successes.
You are, of course, correct. I had completely forgotten. I guess that's the story of his life.
SHIT !
