The most interesting thing is that "Red country" is much, much bigger than the normal red state/blue state map indicates. Take a look at the USA Today red/blue analysis that is done by county. Even the blue states are almost entirely red. The blue tends to gravitate to water -- extreme coastal regions, along the rivers, great lakes -- and University towns. Nine five percent of the land mass is RED.

I cannot wait to see a precinct map. There will be some mighty tiny blue spots. The bad news is that those big areas of blue in the southwest will continue to grow as liberal boomers retire and move away from the hellholes they have created.
