Who knows, maybe Kerry's willingness to act graciuosly, a characteristic very unusual for a crapweasel dem (McGreevy still hasn't submitted his resignation - and I don't believe he will), was do, in part, to the campaign pressures that were causing his wife's drinking and, perhaps, damaging his golden goose.

Being married to Kerry would make me want to drink, too!

I can't watch her. For an heiress she dresses like a bag lady. That ugly GREEN pant suit almost made me heave!

Hmmm, if she is always drunk, that would explain her wardrobe selection wouldn't it?!?!

We thought she looked either drugged or drunk. We watched them leave their townhouse, and she could barely walk unaided. At one point, someone reached out to pat her on the back (apparently in sympathy) and she yanked their hand away--and then someone "assisted" her away from the situation. Most unpleasant.

Aw, who cares if she was. We Republicans can be gracious in victory and forget about the Dims

> ... maybe Kerry's willingness to act graciuosly, ...

There are other theories on that:

- worried about keeping his Senate seat in 2008

- fighting over Ohio would have turned up obvious Dem fraud

- the DNC told him: no money to fight election outcome
(Clinton Sabotage Theory end-game)

Perhaps now that the possibility of life as being First Lady is no longer hanging over her and she is sure she can go back to her life, she can sober up. I'm convinced she never, ever wanted to be First Lady and was more than happy with what she had: the simple life of a billionairess.

I'll bet it took them several hours to get the puke cleaned off and make her presentable.

I told my girlfriend that was probably why Kerry didn't give his concession speech until so late.

Terry Kerry has an alcohol and drug abuse problem. I would bet the farm on that. Let's be nice and just say the woman lost her husband in a plane crash and had totally melted down....when she married Lurch it only got worse. I pity the woman.

Traitor John's current wife had been drinking.

I thought she had been drugged up on some kind of heavy medication or something. My daughter was watching Lurches speech with me, and we notice her leaning slightly into people and bumping into them a little. She didn't walk alone either. Someone was always there holding on to her back, elbow, or hand.
We figured we were probably right, because the camera cut away from her pretty fast. Lurch left her behind and moved away from her. (Maybe she puked or passed out).

I heard it on the radio and I did notice that he was slurring his words a little.

I thought he was just getting emotional but for a little while there I thought that he may have been just really tired from lack of sleep.

Who knows? He may have been hitting the sauce...

Oh.. and IT DOESN'T MATTER ANYWAY!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

I am so happy today.

I'm sure she keeps herself heavily medicated. My bet is that she pops 'ludes like breathmints. You'd keep yourself pharmaceutically maintained too if you were married to Lurch!

I noticed how difficult it seemed for her to negotiate the stairs when leaving the stage. Drunk or not, I'm sure glad that she will not be First Lady of these United States! On that note, happy birthday wishes to Laura! I hope that she loves her gift from the President...:)

Don Imus built this great image on his "Imus in the Morning" show of Kerry coming out onto his front porch to make his concession speech, and then TayRAYsah refusing to allow him back into the house.

I am quite certain the mood would encourage one to imbibe.

I think Teresa is going to have to marry another Republican to become First Lady.
