I agree they have many faults, but remember the admonition: remove the beam from your own eye that you may see clearly to remove the splinter from the eye of your neighbor.

Also, the best solution for the faults of liberals is not to castigate them but to pray for them.

I was reading and reading -- waiting for someone to say what you did. When the gloating and celebrating stops, hopefully we will realize that we, not as Republicans but as Christians, are in the public eye now more than ever before. Do we truly want the clueless, the valueless, the egotistical, self-indulgent, "if-it-feels-good-do-it" crowd to see us as nitwits jumping up and down in glee? Or rather now that they are FORCED to see us, wouldn't it be better for them to see us show in our lives and our conduct the very things we stand for that they claim to despise. Let them see we have "something" and let them want it -- not knowing yet what it is but hungry to find out. Yelling "we WON, we WON" won't do it. Setting an example and showing that it works, will. Only then are we doing what we are called upon to do. Sorry if this sounds preachy, but what a fantastic opportunity we have now been given! We need to set an example of people who have found what the others are running themselves ragged in circles looking for and for which they do not even have a name. Once they've seen, then we can tell them the name :)
