Previously asked for data on this, but decided to do the numbers myself (i.e. as Rush would say.. "Rugged Individualism" won out over looking for a handout...)
The numbers flat out tell the story. In 1 state, the People's Republic of Vermont, President Bush earned a lesser % of the vote in 2004 than in 2000. In 2 states (Montana and South Dakota) Bush had essentially the same % of the vote (i.e. difference of less than .5%). In the remaining 47 states (yes, including the lib enclaves of CA-NY-IL-DC), Bush earned a higher % of the vote this year than in 2000. Greater agreement or this rascally "divisiveness" I keep having jammed down my throat by the MSM and commie-lib talking heads? ..excuse the formatting -

Anyone who really looks at the vote breakdown will see that there are NO BLUE STATES! There are only enclaves of blue precincts in the midst of RED STATES!!! It is incredible.
Thank You to our Founders for having the wisdom to structure our elections via an electoral vote.
Very nice to see on the "county" map that all blue infection was removed from Oklahoma this year.A clean state. :o)
GO Oklahoma.
"Thank You to our Founders for having the wisdom to structure our elections via an electoral vote..."
Do you suppose those who want to eliminate the electoral vote are still thinking the same way today?
Those who want majority rule might now realize that they are NOT the majority. The Silent Majority stood up to be counted.
this is too funny..
wondering which states "reddened" themselves the most since 2000?
how about the liberal Northeast.. none other than CT, NJ, NY, RI, and well.. TN.. all increased their numbers for Bush by 5% or more!!
and some lovely parting gifts for Mass. which was up 4.6%.. they starting to get their sh$t together up there perhaps?
oooops.... and Hawaii.. the winner at 7.8%... aloha
I pray every day for a rebirth of morality in the US. I'm getting what I've been asking for. Praise the Lord.

thank you fellow freeper.. i carried the ball into the red zone and you took it across the goal line.. high five on the TD!!!!
good work goodwillhtng- the comments of silverleaf is greatly misunderstood by the MSM and even today's talk shows. It is the counties like LA or NYC that give a very large % to the democrats, not the whole state.
(From a Minnesotan that voted red in the only county - Winona - in my corner of the state that went blue...blame it on the colleges, I guess.)
This is very interesting. I think it can be put to good use.... ;-)
i stand corrected..no sleep affected my math.. MN was 2.1 as you say...
if its any consolation.. im a lonely Vikings fan in South Carolina!!
