If the media could not get kerry elected, what makes you think their tactics could disguise Hillery's many shortcomings.

1) She is smarter than Kerry. She would never get NEAR Michael Moore.

2) She is a MUCH better political fighter. If Kerry had half her political savvy, there is no way he would have started his campaign without a plan and a team in place to respond to and neutralize SBVT-type attacks before they ever got started.

3) She is more disciplined and focused than Kerry. She is NOT a flip-flopper, can stay on message, and can really soft-pedal her extremism. (She will have "grown in office.")

4) After 8 years of Bush without a real heir-apparent, there are many voters who will just decide "it's time for a change."

5) Outside of Giuliani, there is no viable Republican candidate in the wings with any national name recognition.

6) She is a MONSTER fund-raiser, and will have lots of $$$ to put into her campaign and lots of favors to call in.

I am not saying Hillary can't be beaten. I know that right now she has high negatives. But if Repubs act as if there is NO WAY she can be elected, they will find themselves scrambling in a nail biter election, with the outcome far from assured.
