Evan Thomas was just on "Imus in the Morning" on MSNBC. He's starting to spill his guts on the stuff the MSM hid from the public about John Kerry and his campaign.
First, Thomas admits that Kerry's staff took his cell-phone away from him twice, in order to prevent him from calling hundreds of people to decide what he should think about a particular issue. Imus adds that Kerry called him, Imus, on more than one occasion asking for advice.
This information was apparently not deemed newsworthy before John Kerry might have been elected President of the United States.
Next, Thomas candidly describes Teresa Heinz-Kerry as a self-absorbed hypchondriac. Whenever she spoke to gatherings during the campaign, she was boring and concentrated only on herself. (Of course, we knew that, but what we see is that the MSM was holding back from describing the kind of disaster that even they knew Teresa would have been had she become First Lady.)
More 'revelations' will doubtless follow.
Anyone seen Lawrence O'Donnell? Or is he institutionalized?
Good point and well taken. I don't really think one has to apply much effort in charming a love starved desperate rich woman like Teraysu(kerry's meal ticket) Oh by the way, kerry should be thankful that I was not the SS agent he called a SOB when he fell. I would have ensured he stayed down for the count due to his comment concerning one's Mother.
I would have liked for Kerry to have attended my high school. Kerry would have his privileged ass kicked and be minus his lunch money. I admire your portrayl of kerry and it fits to a T.
Teresa was a detriment!?!
Who knew? /snark.
Thank you for your kind words. And I LOL at what you said.
Did you hear that story that some of the sophomore hockey players, that were at Harvard at the time Kerry was a senior there, said he used to do? They said that when the sophomores practiced, senior Kerry would skate near them (from the area in which HE had been skating with his stick,) and FLIP THEIR PUCK INTO THE WOODS, and LEAVE.
JERK EXTRAORDINAIRE.
Hey Doris, why don't you go and write a 1000-page history of the James Garfield administration.
You're right. Our neighbors voted for the first time ever, and they voted Repub! They told us the Dems are too NASTY.
Their main concerns are their union benefits and other freebies and handouts.
He's indebted to these liberals because they contribute big money to his ranch for kids. Paul Begala just contributed $5,000.
He was on Dennis Miller last night.
The MSM carried an ocean of water for Kerry, he lost and so did they.
That's another issue I have with Imus. When I used to listen to him regularly, it seemed like he (and his wife, son, and brother) were at the ranch very frequently, while the kids with cancer were there very infrequently.
The kids are only there during school vacations. Imus is always begging for money for the ranch, and the liberals give it to him in the hope that he won't trash them. Most of his on-air guests give the ranch money.
The truth about Kerry needs to come out so the world can be witness to the massive cover-up by the media and democrats in power. Now is the time to strike while they are inclined to spill the beans while in CYA mode and eager to blame someone for this embarassing loss.
What makes that ancedote interesting is that he did not attend Harvard.
There was another tidbit on Anus in the Morning which relates to the fact that Kerry heard Springsteen saying something complimentary about him (Kerry) at which point he turned to someone and said in a pleased tone "did you hear what he (Springsteen) said about me (Kerry)?"
Can you imagine our president given a rat's rear end what Springsteen or anyone like him thought about him?
Sorry, I meant Yale. EXCUSE me.
Perhaps like klintoon's impeachment 'badge of dishonor'?
"The "Anybody But Bush" armor that Kerry was wearing during the campaign just came off.... Now he's fair game once again."
Everyone is in a rush to consign Kerry back into oblivion. Personally, I'd like to gnaw on his ramains a little while longer.
Hillary: "I would have done everything different..."
