"The Constitution of the United States of America gives great powers to the federal government."

No, no, no. The Constitution restricts the powers of the federal government while delegating most affairs not having to do with foreign relations to the states.

How sad to see this in an Air Force publication.

The heads at Disney permitted a film to be released from the vaults. Oddly it came out around the same time as Michael Moore's film was released to the theaters.

This Disney animated feature had been on and off the release schedule for nearly a year (and suppressed since its release).

It shows that Walt Disney would NOT have financed Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11. It also shows how he offered his film studio for use in cooperation with the US military. The liner notes wrongly state that he "handed over" control to the US government. He did not. The Private Snafu shorts were done by other studios (Warner Brothers, UPA and maybe MGM) in part because Walt wanted to own the character.

What was this film?

VICTORY THROUGH AIRPOWER

Winston Churchhill advised FDR to see this film and it revolutionized the strategy of combat. It was based on a book and the author presented his case onscreen.

I would cite it among the best archival DVDs released this year (despite all the evil Disney Corp is associated with including ABC).

The 2 disc set also includes most of the war effort cartoons (entertaining and educational) made during WWII.
