I dont believe movie / music revenues or the associated actors / performers will suffer because of their ignorant rants. Think about it. You and I know they are little more than trained monkeys that dance for our enjoyment. They are there for our entertainment and nothing else. We will continue to pay the organ grinder but that doesnt mean we will give the monkey any more than a passing glance.

"Everyone's so down. All the studio execs are bummed. I have to tell you, when gay marriage becomes a bigger issue than the Iraq war, we're missing something." Who knows? Maybe some of them are actually starting to wake up.

Remember the 2000 Bush Country map being all red? I believe that media tradition was broken when USA Today published its map that way for 2000 and started referring to red state people as Republican and blue state people as Democrat. The political punditry quickly followed suit. We haven't had any elections since that would show if Republicans have been perpetually designated as red or if red still symbolizes the incumbent party. In '04, it could have been either.

I am so sick of seeing rainbow flags on homes owned by militant in-your-face f*gs. What right do they have to the rainbow, which, after all was a sign of the covenant between Noah and God? To them, their whole world revolves around their sex organ and their queeritude.

Actually, on election night of 2000, a lot of people on FR kept decrying the fact that the MSM displayed maps that used the red designation for Republicans.

People think I'm nutty when I tell them I change the channel on the television or radio when one of these leftist nutballs come on. Actually it makes me feel rather good.

I don't know if the 'star studded support' worked or not. It worked for me -- I found out which products not to buy :)

In 2000,the MSM said that blue was always used for the incumbent's color and red for the challenger. I like red over blue coloring for our side on the map.
- Red denotes power and passion
- Blue denotes coldness and depression.
- Red denotes a call to battle for ancient Romans
- Blue was the color for public servants in ancient Rome
- A red letter day means good fortune
- A blue day means you feeling as though nothing is going right
- To "paint the town red" is to celebrate
- In some middle-east cultures, blue is the mourning color
- Red is the color of importance when visibility is required
- Blue-bloods signify snobby elitists

Yep,after 2000 the red had grown on me and many of us considered red to be "our" color.
I wasn't really looking forward to changing.
