Former President Bill Clinton's 11th-hour campaign swing on behalf of John Kerry did nothing to boost the Democratic nominee and may have actually hurt him, according to several political experts. Clinton, recovering from heart surgery, joined the campaign trail late in October with a week of raucous rallies in Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Florida, New Mexico and Nevada.
Kerry lost all those states, except Pennsylvania.
"He clearly didn't do much for Kerry," said Larry Sabato, who runs the political center at the University of Virginia.
Sabato said Clinton probably hurt not just Kerry but also some Democratic Senate candidates across the country who were attacked by their opponent for ties to the former president and to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.
"I would give Bill Clinton a 10 in terms of entertainment value. But in terms of votes he produced for John Kerry, I would give him a 1 or 2," Sabato told the Post. Stephen Hess, a presidential scholar at the Brookings Institution, said Clinton's big promise was that he might help deliver his home state of Arkansas to Kerry. In fact, the state voted for Bush.

LOL. Luv it. Remember, Kerry and Bush were tied in Arkansas? Then Clinton shows up and it's a Bush blow-out by 11 points. Thanks Willy!
Bring on the Hildebeast. Let's finish them both off for good.

Does Sabato mention his conviction that John Kerry would win???
To: kattracks
If I recall correctly, I don't think Arkansas even voted for Clinton.

That's the liberal touch, my friend. EVERYTHING the liberals try to fix... EVERYTHING liberals touch turns to $hit!

The Clinton's last minute involvement in the sKerry campaign was no different than Osama Bin Laden's. They were saying, "I, Me, I, I, Me, I, Me, Me, - We're still here!"
And, the effect was the same - the American people rejected them.

A scene in a movie came to mind when reading this headline...
In the movie Mad Max II, one of the psychopathic villains throws a razor sharp boomerang towards the people defending their town. Another one of the villains doesn't realise the dangerousness of the weapon and runs to catch it himself. The fingers on his right hand are chopped off.

The democratic leadership just don't get it...
much of america BLAMES Clintong for 9-11.
He was not "America's first black president" then, but he sure as heck laid the foundation for the entire al quaeida's operational succcess via his lazy-assed, scandal preoccupied, don't-ask-don't-tell-don't-know-and-do nothing; administration.
the legacy of willie the sink?
the fallen twin towers...
that's it. he's a loser.
that they cannot figure it out, actually works to our benefit.
what chance do you give hillary in 2008?

The famous Bubba Curse claimed more Democratic carcasses. When will the Democrats understand the Clintons are a liability to the future of their party? As long as Billary are around, count on them to keep on losing.

Kerry didn't want to use Clinton. He wanted Al Gore and Whoopi Goldberg, but neither one wanted to risk catching his loser-cooties.
By the way...now he's lost, is the Whoopi video on ebay yet? How about his military records?

At last, Ruy Teixeira's grandiose vision of an "Emerging Democratic Majority" has been validated. THE DEMOCRATIC MAJORITY HAS EMERGED!
Too bad it's still born.

We have a REPUBLICAN majority! Its a thrill to rub it into Democratic faces. Its a whole new world and very different Washington from the one in Reagan's day.
