I base the value of something by what it does for me. If it helps me then I consider it of high value, if it hurts me I put it in the 'low value' bin. I don't have either the time nor the inclination to review every post so I am thankful when someone re-posts something I find interesting. This post fall into that category. Institutions and practices that serve the interest of the end user, as opposed to the institution itself, are the ones that stand the tests of time. As I peruse the posts I just skip those that don't interest me or that I think I've already seen. I prefer the irritation of an occasional duplicate post to missing a post on an interesting subject.
