I agree (for once) with Morris.

I think the exit polls should just be outlawed.
Just as we outlaw electioneering within 300 feet of a
polling place we should outlaw polling.

It serves no purpose and satisfies no need.

I believe "exit polling" has the potential to violate the spirit of secret balloting. Puts too much pressure on people to divulge what should be kept private. Secret ballot protects people from being unduly influenced. This is how "exit polling" is being used -- to influence the vote. No other reason.

Exit polls are a good measure of accountability against fraud. They should just wait until every poll is closed to report the results.
