Nearly 150 reservists with the Army's 892nd Transportation Company in Belleville are preparing to be deployed in support of the war in Iraq.
The reservists will leave Wednesday for Camp Atterbury in Edinburgh, Ind., where they'll complete paperwork and receive vaccinations, additional weapons and training before heading to the Middle East.
The company, which is nicknamed "Rolling Thunder," provides transportation support for troops on the ground by hauling supplies such as food, ammunition and water.
The 145 reservists have been mobilized to support Operation Iraqi Freedom, but don't know exactly where they will be sent, said Army Maj. Dave Ling.
