We have a Republican majority in Texas thanks to Karl. Bush was governor here. What else can I say. He has been working at this for years and should be given credit.

Site Meter Super easy to see why Bush called him the "Architect" today...and I tell you this...Gulliani, McCain, or whoever is thinking about '08 better listen up to him - because if they think they can be the nominee in 08 and ignore the Evangelicals that turned out this year - they are fooling themselves...

You know, at first I was really leery of mountains of lawyers milling about....

But considering how smoothly it all went yesterday, maybe tons of lawyers watching each other is a good thing.

Neither of those mentioned appeal remotely to Evangelicals OR Catholics OR Hispanics (if the latter two are different). Jeb's quite another story. Need to find out more about Condi.

You are correct, but I think in the meantime he should be sent out here to California to take back this state for the Gipper. If anybody could do it, Karl could!

I have worked on many campaigns over the years, but this was by far the most brilliantly organized campaign I have ever been involved in. The cooperation, the lists, and the coordinators sent to each state were magnificent.
Even the couple of Rope a Dopes he pulled to New Jersey and Hawaii, of all places, proved to be worthwhile sidetracks to the other campaign. I'm still laughing about sending Al Gore to Hawaii to sure up the base.
Karl Rove is truly a campaign genius.

What would it take for Giuliani to gain the Evangelical vote? I can't imagine he would change his position completely on abortion or gay rights. I think he would be a strong candidate nationwide.

Is this thread a vanity? Or contain any content for the FR news peruser? If so, what is the significance of the link you posted?

I think you could have accomplished the kind of discussion you wanted while still maintaining FR posting standards.

Try reading Karl's quote. I was making the point that he called the race, particularly Florida and Ohio on Monday and thanking him for a job well done.
