Under Scottish law, can't we throw his worthless rear end of the the judiciary committee room?
I seem to recall a point of Scottish law (yes! really! -- at least in the eighteenth century) mentioned by Samuel Johnson -- that if the state will not, e.g., punish the murderer of your daughter, you are entitled to do it yourself.
