Oh, sure--THAT is a truly intelligent approach. Bush I tried texactly that----and the result was DAVID SOUTER!!!! One "hopes" that Bush II has learned from his father's BAD mistake.

He apparently has, because I doubt you can name any of the hundreds of judges he's nominated that hasn't been stellar.

So, yes, that is the intelligent approach.
