As sKerry just demonstrated, senators rarely make it as president. How many senators in the last 100 years have been elected president? I think we need to look to conservative governors. And don't say Romney - he only looks conservative to his home state of Massholes. To the rest of "fly over" country, he is pretty liberal.

Hey, there are a lot of us RED districts in Mass. And Romney's pro-life big time, pro death penalty, and pro 2nd amendment. Can't get much LESS liberal.
