Ain't it grand? I discovered FR back in 2000 during the Recount Debacle. I was about to go out of my mind. Then I caught a quick glimpse of someone with a protest sign that had the words "www.freerepublic.com" at the bottom.

I quickly jotted that down. Later that same evening I entered that into my browser.
Voilà! I discovered FR...... I "lurked" for about an hour and then joined.
About 2 weeks later I became a "monthly donor".

FR Saved me from going completely crazy. (That's really saying sumpin'....coz.....it'd be a "short trip". LOL)

Ain't we all glad that this election didn't become a repeat of 2000?
