Oh, please! The UN has been only grudgingly cooperative in Iraq, avoiding close cooperation on security or policy with the US, and claiming the liberation of Iraq was "illegal".

I must agree with the general tone of the replies here, so I'll not add more. However, let's not forget that Bill Clinton now has aspirations for Kofi Annans' job! Well, that fits, it's a socialist organization, might as well keep it an unbroken string of socialist leaders! My only fear is that it will make it harder to kick the U.N. the hell out of the U.S. We can only hope it happens sooner than later.

UN is the new "Mother Russia"
Scheer hates his own country with a passion. Just read what he wrote about the necessary and life saving nuclear bomb drop over Japan in 1945. Naturally, he would support an organization that deplores the USA and freedom itself. The UN is a joke and isn't very good at those things (humanitarian causes, nation building) that Scheer is giving them credit for. Truth is that they just suck money out of the hands of the American taxpayer and use it to help prop up dictators all over the world. Not surprising that Scheer loves them.

That we had to do your job in Iraq
That you didn't finish the job in '91, and let Saddam remain in power and that Americans had to die the second time around to clean up your mess

That we trusted you to manage the oil for food program and that thousands of little Iraqi kids are dead because they didn't get fed, but some of you a%&holes got rich
