Below are several quotes from your posts. They all appear to be personal attacks. Several of us here obviously disagree and that’s fine; however, we are not enemies and don’t need to act like we are. Let’s keep arguments at the level of ideas and facts, not on the level of accusations and name calling.

I think capitan_kerryfagio has been operating under his bigoted assumption that Southerners are stupid. The more you prove him wrong, the tighter he will cling to his ignorance. He seems to have a death-grip on it now.

Your problem obviously goes beyond ignorance for having been lied to. You must know the lies you were spoonfed while growing up are lies, but instead of accepting the truth, you try to snare everyone else into believing the lies. There are many events that Grant never mentioned. That doesn't prove they didn't occur. Your arguments are just too hollow to take seriously.

It's not my fault that the truth doesn't mesh with the fantasy taught to you by some liberal "teacher." You should be angry about being lied to, not about finally being told the truth.

If you're incapable of reading your own reply, I'm not sure it would do any good for me to repeat it.

Hello newbie. I find it amusing that you're sick of the whole North/South thing before you've even managed to learn anything about it. Must be the result of a liberal yankee education. I'm one of those Republicans living in the North, and I can attest to the fact that I'm surrounded by liberals like you.

You must be one of those poorly educated yankees who thinks all Southerners are pro-slavery and there was never a slave owner north of the Mason-Dixon Line.

Thanks for posting some of my comments. I'm proud of them. I enjoyed reading through them again. I'm flattered that you would enjoy them enough to sort through them and post your favorites. You left out some of my best lines, but at least you included my favorite. The boy's dumb as a stump. Those quotes speak volumes about me, and I'm proud of what they say. I realize anything positive said about the South is offensive to liberals. I noticed some of the quotes you included could only fall into that category. Your choice of quotes speaks volumes about you. Why don't you just admit your bigotry, and move on. Go back to the liberal factory that spawned you, and warn the others this is not a friendly little touchy feely place for them to spread their fertilizer.
