What is the FINAL tally? (# of votes, gains in house/senate)

Posted on 11/03/2004 8:21:53 AM PST by Capitalism2003

I haven't heard a good summary yet.

How many governor's races did we win?

House/Senate? What is the balance of power now?

GOP gains major statehouses in Missori and Indiana. Washington still waaaayyyy to close to call. Last I saw Rossi was ever-so-slightly trailing Demonrat Gregoire. CORRECTION: Rossi has taken the lead by 1000 votes!

Looks like we might have lost a good warrior in Craig Benson in wee New Hampshire. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make a comeback bid in '06, though. Lost Montana too.

What was going on with that? I heard all the campaign ads in Boston, but didn't know any background and found them mystifying. The late ads against Benson made it sound as if he was Al Capone one step ahead of the FBI.
