Just found out my husband (who's had his fill & then some) sent the following e-mail to our oldest son (a self-described Ohio-dwelling socialist, who recently smugly informed us that "my vote's the one that REALLY counts") and a cc: to me with this lead-in: "Maybe I shouldn't have...but I sent this to ***. Today is the day to gloat and immaturely revel in victory --"

To all my leftist, France and Canada loving friends and relatives...your candidate was justly defeated, and all of the lying rhetoric of Michael Moore, George Soros, Susan Estrich, Paul Begala, Ron Reagan et al was not enough to deceive the American people. The republic has been saved by divine intervention, and the sacrifices of our forefathers are secure for four more years. America won its most crucial battle since the American Revolution.
