My opinion of Kerry has gone up.
I had fully expected him to fight this and drag the Nation through turmoil just as Gore did. I'm glad that he's proven me wrong. I only wish he had resigned from the Senate (as Dole did) before the race. But you can't have everything.
A Bush win and a Daschle loss is good enough for me.

I echo your sentiments. I think Kerry is doing the dignified thing, and for that I am grateful. This country doesn't need to be splintered any further.
