We need to rewrite the Senate rules at the beginning of the next Congress in January and remove the filibuster option for judicial appointment votes Didn't Frist announce six months (or more) ago that he was going to do exactly that at the beginning of the new term if he was still the Majority leader? It was something about having a lower threshold with each filibuster vote until it got down to 50/50. Hope he has the guts to go ahead with it!

the Dems can choose slow death (filibusters lose more seats in '06) or they can partially obstruct and let us get most of our judges. either way, we win.
