Ok, folks, watch the networks that have given Ohio to Bush. They are trying to maintain that the other states are too close to call. Follow me here. IF this were really true, they would all be saying "HEY LOOK, WE COULD HAVE A TIE. IF BUSH WINS OHIO AS PROJECTED AND KERRY TAKES THESE OTHER STATES THAT ARE 'TOO CLOSE TO CALL' WE'LL HAVE A TIE!"
NOBODY is saying that. WHY? Because they KNOW that Kerry can't take the other states, namely NEVADA. Yes, the same Nevada that has been called for Bush by the networks who haven't called Ohio.
How utterly stupid do they think we are? Just watching these blathering idiots is an insult to my intelligence. I'm going to bed now with sweet dreams of a Bush win.
Kerry ~ Edwards is supported by Krazy ~ Bastards
Of course it was collusion ... they all used the same data service.
Brian Williams, who is about to take over the NBC News anchor job for the retiring Tom Brokaw, just said on Imus in the Morning that NBC plans to project additional states but will do so without calling the actual election!
Good one... :)
Its sad really Michigan is closer than Ohio and Penn is about as close as well. It amazed me how early they called Penn. especially after the warning of calling things too early.
I believe FOX was the first network to call Ohio for Bush last night...
but I wasnt watching the others all that much. I know that about a half hour after Fox made its call, NBC also called Ohio for Bush, and that CNN just refused to bite the bullet.
So did our friends at Fox really come thru for us after all (after a lackluster performance early in thenight)?? Or is someone aware of some other media outlet who called Ohio for Bush before Fox?
oh...btw...YEEEEEEE-HAWWWWWWW !!!!
I agree that it was insulting not to have called certain states even when the lead was insurmountable. The refrain I heard most was "it depends on what precincts are outstanding". Even my 8 yr old thought the networks were stupid, and CBSNBCABCPBSETC gave Dad a perfect opportunity to teach a life lesson to my baby.
OTOH, one of my friends in media noted that as soon as they called OH, all of the network viewers would say "It's a wrap" and head to bed, trashing their viewership. The networks were put in the position of trying to keep a blowout suspenseful, much like any sportscaster has to.
All the network RATS are sitting there like a kid waiting outside the principal's office: they know they're in for bad news, but keep hoping it will disappear.
It won't you unprofessional dopes, face it: the TRAITOR lost!
It's not collusion, it's just that none of them (especially Fox) want to go down in history as the first network to declare victory for Bush. If it's Fox, even though it's obvious now, they'll be the first target (BIAS! BIAS!) of all the Dem's vitriol. The lib networks aren't going to call it either, as long as there's one last iota of hope, no matter how small.
