Man, did we win the trifecta or what?
But she'll probably sue to get re-appointed.

Buh-bye to the whole Commission.

SOS Ken Blackwell is, well, black.
I'd like to see how this is going to play out with a black man the victim of a smear by Kerry/Edwards.

I almost forgot about her. She's history but if I recall she disputes exactly when her term ends. I think she said (about 3 years ago) it's feb 05 which would have given the new president power to re-appoint her.
Oh, well.
What's even better is that some of the old Supremes can go and be replaced. I like Renhquist but retire already. I won't miss Sandra Dee.
Stevens is older than dirt but he'll hang on another 4.

There is a very good chance that Bush will get to appoint at least 3 Supreme Court Judges during his term. Yes, they plan to stay, but as we have seen with Rehnquist...sometimes health problems pop up unexpectedly and take the choice out of their hands. I look for him to step down soon. Several other Judges are getting up in years and could become ill and have to step down as well. We will see. One thing is sure...it will be the fight of a lifetime getting a conservative approved.

Do you think we could convince Arlen Specter to join the other team through these appointments? I don't trust that man.

Such a beautiful, decent looking person. Her demeanor clearly echos her magnificent and honest inner soul.
