...could he be any more upset about having to declare Bush one electoral vote away from victory???
at least he won't take ohio away.
Okay, I've posted this about 3 or 4 other times this morning, but earlier Brokaw got choked up and almost lost it when speaking about John Kerry losing the election.
Tom Brokaw IS a ghost... The ghost of a soon to be annihilated, utterly corrupt Old Media.
I believe the DNC probably threatened the networks that called Ohio not to call Neveda. We aren't hearing about it, but its entirely in line with everything else they've done this election.
That falls in line with Brokaw's red map red ideology snide comment. Probably tired of getting calls threatening to sue if NBC called Neveda like the other networks (like CNN) and stuck them back with it.
almost got choked up about Kerry losing election........
Give me strength!
Bush needs to drive the steak through the heart of the MSM by declaring Victory with the MSM's approval.
I saw that! It was disgusting.
without their approval I mean (tired)
What is up with the 1 electoral vote in Maine?
Ick. Thanks a lot.
He did...he announced that this was his last election. I'm glad he was given a good send off.
Darn, I missed that and was even popping pop corn toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
When Bush got a state, they called it as "the state fell." When Kerry got a state, that state went with Kerry. Heard this a couple of times. They could not be any more obvious.
Did anyone bother to turn the channel to see DAN RATHER!!! I got bored enough to do it at about 4am DST. Talk about a corpse! And right next to him was Father Death in the form of columnist Richard Reeves, spouting one liberal crock after another. How I hope their ratings sucked.
Don't ya' just love to see the msm crying in their beer? Nothing makes me happier for them to see that all their efforts failed...that they could not bring down a good man!!
popcorn
Agreed. It's been quite funny watching CNN, CBS, and NBC coverage throughout the wee hours. They are in complete denial, and even though the result is fairly clear they continue to eagerly grasp at straws to try to give the impression that the outcome is still in doubt.
I for one am relishing the performance.
I just wish there was still a crowd gathered in Boston, and that Kerry would come out and talk about his plan:
"I have a plan to overcome the 145,000 votes deficit in Ohio. An my plan is a good plan. I have a plan for the absebtee ballots in Ohio. I have a plan for the military ballots in Ohio, and I have a plan for the provisional ballots in Ohio."
Getting the VCR ready to record whatever statement Kerry may make, because it may be the funniest statement ever made by any candidate. Even funnier than Gore's schtick during Florida 2000.
Guess I better get some more coffee!
Later,
Papa Joe
Against all odds, we won this thing. I'm as proud to be a FReeper tonight as I am to be a former Ranger. You people do this country proud. Sorry, I've got something in my eye.
