If the GOP would lose more of its nanny statism (including the cancer of the commerce clause) the LP would shed much of its appeal.

Chances are, more democrats voted for the Libertarian out of hate for Gregoire. Most democrats I know readily admit she's a horrible candidate.
Living in Washington, I am registered Libertarian, but consider myself small-l libertarian.
