What's the content of the guide look like? (Wondering what sorts of things they included in there).
The contents of the Disaster Preparedness Guide are as follows:
- Household Checklist, "Go Bag" Checklist, Emergency Supply Kit Checklist.
- General Emergency Response: Evacuation, Shelter in Place, Disaster Sheltering, Utilities Disruption.
- Hazard Specific Information: Weather Disasters, Fires, Earthquakes, Carbon Monoxide, Disease Outbreaks and Biological Events, Radiation Exposure, Building Collapses or Explosions, Hazardous Materials or Chemical Spills, and last but not least - Thoughts on Terrorism.
- The last section deals with Special Needs such as Seniors and People with Disabilities.
- There is also a section on Subway Preparedness and an Emergency Reference Card in the back.
