I agree, although not having spoken to eyewitnesses as you have. It burns me up that this stupid urban legend continues to make rounds when the facts are there and have been there, rebutting it over and over and over and over.

There's definitely not a conspiracy theory here in Virgnia. We know the Pentagon was hit by American Airlines Flight 77 because a lot of the passengers on it lived in the area.

The conspiracy theories on the Pentagon attack seemed to have started as a way for the kool aid drinkers to blame Israel for the attacks. They once even tried to claim it was a dressed up El Al aircraft, among other things.
