thanks
ha! that's great
Alas, I must retreat temporarily to do some work. I'll check in before I finish for the night.
I should clarify that post by adding that I am not referring to those who hold views of IH and have spent time there. I am only referring to those who have not and yet still have views (based on what, I do not know).
I feared this would be the outcome after all the naysaying. I bet he is the 'lead' on whatever plot is underway. The first 19 (heavily Saudi) sent us the message that our oil-ally is not our friend. An American carrying out an attack against fellow Americans, that would be a bold statement from al Qaida.
I don't think there was anything wrong in posting that, Oorang.
To the contrary, we need to expose what's going on out there.
Hi knak,
God bless you, your husband and your family. My wife and my prayers are with you all.
No place like home. :-)
More prayers on the way...
Thanks Vel. I guess if it mentioned me it would be mine to post. It mentions another freeper I was wrong to post it. I freepmailed ad mod and JR asking for it to be pulled. Still waiting.
Unidentified submarine spotted in Japanese waters
TOKYO (AP) Japans navy forces went on alert early Wednesday after a foreign submarine was briefly spotted in its territorial waters, the governments top spokesman said.
The subs country of origin and other details could not immediately be determined.
A reconnaissance aircraft and destroyer were dispatched to investigate, Chief Cabinet Secretary Hiroyuki Hosoda said.
The aircraft confirmed the submarine had entered Japanese territorial waters near the Sakishima islands in southern Okinawa prefecture but that it later left, he said.
Defense chief Yoshinori Ono issued an alert order to the navy, Hosoda said without elaborating.
Its extremely regrettable, Hosoda said. We have to find out and examine the details, including its purpose and origin.
Japan has been considering ways to boost its maritime defenses after a shoot out with a suspected North Korean spy ship in December 2001.
In that incident, Japanese Coast Guard patrol boats sank the suspected spy ship in a gunbattle off southwestern Japan. The patrol vessels returned fire only after the ship, ordered to stop, opened fire with a rocket and guns.
The Sakishima islands lie in waters between the northeastern tip of Taiwan and Okinawas main island some 1,000 miles south of Tokyo.
thanks guys
I think there is no question that there are sleeper cells. The very nature of UBL's war is cellular and always has been. If there were sleeper cells in the U.S. on the morning of 9/11, there are sleeper cells here now. We know that UBL has recruited Chechyns, Africans, Asians, etc., to his cause. Even if we rounded up all the 'usual' suspects, there would be someone else out there planning and waiting.
Storm system developing in central Caribbean Sea harhofon
MIAMI (AP) Storms brewing in the central Caribbean Sea could develop into a tropical cyclone this week while dropping heavy rains and causing life-threatening flooding and mud slides on Puerto Rico and the island of Hispaniola, forecasters said.
Cloudiness and thunderstorms stretched over a vast area from Costa Rica to Puerto Rico, forecasters at the National Hurricane Center in Miami reported.
Though the system had no defined center, storm activity became better organized Tuesday and could develop into a tropical or subtropical storm by Thursday, forecasters said.
Extensive rainfall, flooding and mud slides were likely over parts of Hispaniola, Puerto Rico and the northern Leeward Islands by Thursday, no matter what happens with the storm, forecasters said.
The primary threat right now is heavy rain that will continue whether the system develops or not, said Jack Beven, a hurricane specialist at the center.
Satellite rainfall estimates showed more than 10 inches of rain falling per hour.
The next tropical storm to form in the hurricane season that ends Nov. 30 would be named Otto.

They'll get around to it if you asked them to pull it.
:-)
You may want to send a copy of that over here:

In case they haven't caught sight of it themselves.
