The quote "All your base are belong to us" comes from some old video game (name escapes me at the moment) that was translated from Japanese for its American release...very badly, obviously. It sort of passed into popular/geek culture.

Oh, how I hope Iowa goes to Bush in the end! It's very difficult to admit that my fellow state citizens would vote in such numbers for such a rotten candidate as John Kerry. I can't believe that it is this close, but sure hope Bush's lead holds. How disillusioning.
