I agree. Speaking as a journalist, I was shocked and appalled by the short shrift these guys were given. The press just didn't want to cover their story. But they took their case to the people, and if current results hold up, the people backed them.

Nam Vets.....Welcome Home, may this be a new beginning and may those wounds that haven't healed, start to heal in a most perfect way. I pray that your hearts and souls know, that we will never, as a nation allow what happened to you to happen again. Thank you our Forgotten Heroes

just want to honor and salute all the veterans out there I think it is fair to claim that in this close election, the SBVT effort made the difference. I believe it is quite likely Kerry would have won without their efforts.
It is also worth reflecting on the now-famous debate between Kerry and O'Neil.
After 35 years, payback is a bi*** baby.

The real story of this election is the merciless beating George W. Bush has taken for four years in the press and yet has done so well to overcome such monumental smear tactics.
I believe if it were not for talk radio and the Internet, we'd be looking at overwhelming liberal control of politics in this country.
To: steve dubya
They gave us a boost when we really needed it most. Turned the momentum around. God bless each and every one of them, and every Vietnam vet (except Kerry and the members of his crew who wh*red for him)

My 2 donations to the Swift Boat Vets were well worth it! God Bless John O'Neill--a straight shooter who kept his cool in the face of such Dem idiots like O'Donnell and Matthews and a hostile MSM...
