Fred Barnes just said Zell Miller is more conservative than Isakson. That kind of puts the dampener on picking up that senate seat.

One little problem with that analysis: in 2001, when Jumpin Jim went over to the Dems, Zell could have caucused with the GOP to keep the GOP in majority power. He did not. As much as I love the support of the Pres. now, I'll never forgive him for that.
