You would think that CNN could get their act together with color-coding an election map...
I would hope that nobody depends on this map to decide when to go vote...VOTE NOW!!! if you haven't.
This map's intent was as a general guideline for election results later tonight.

"CNN screwed up"
Or is it misinformation to screw up late voters - like non-liberal working people?

There are TWO time zones in Indiana. Do the CST ones close at 6 ???????????????? If you're in Indiana, call your local precinct for information, or if in doubt don't gamble and go vote NOW. No need to panic.

Nice map and info, however, Florida is a dual time-zone state.
Here in the Eastern half, our polls close at 7:00pm.
In the Panhandle, west of the Apalachicola River, the polls close at 7:00pm, CENTRAL TIME, (8:00pm Eastern).
Therefore, 8:00pm Eastern Time will be the earliest that the nutworks can call Florida for BUSH!!!

"CNN screwed up" Or is it misinformation to screw up late voters - like non-liberal working people? No, it's accurate for what it's meant to be -- an indicator of when *all* polling places in that state will have closed and final results will start becoming available.
It's not meant to indicate when local polling places will close in any particular area, and no one should use it for that purpose.

Is it possible to switch this new map out with the one at the top of the thread? It looks more accurate than CNN's. Another option would be to pull my thread and create a new one.
Thanks for your assistance...
