Stephanopolous is saying that without Ohio, Kerry loses because Alaska will definitely go Bush. Even if Kerry sweeps every other state, House of Rep would select Bush.
A question then: if that means the Senate would pick the VP, and we have the Senate, right? if the Senate vote was a tie, and of course the current VP is the president of the Senate, would he vote for himself, or would he recuse himself, since he is a candidate?
Not that I hope it gets to that point...
