If Nevada goes for Kerry it will be a shame. Until all the ex-Southern Californians moved to Las Vegas Nevada was a solid Republican state. I attended the Nevada Day celebrations in Carson City over the weekend and they had a very conservative, fly-over country type parade.

But, Southern California used to be predominately Republican (when we lived there)... it was Northern California that always went Dem.
