Karl Rove knows exactly how many votes he needed from Ohio, and he's getting them.

Knowing she was tipsy, they stuck a pole up her butt...propped her up, and gave her note cards to read. Every time she looked down, that pole wiggled. Thus explains the "deer in the headlights" look.
Sure she is. She's the first demo operative they call when they need someone not afraid to spout outrageous lies you'd never get out of a Bill Richardson, for instance.

AND...why do you think the Dems got this blowsy drunk out there spouting why they won't even spout? Because the DEMS know they lost Florida. That's the only reason Estrich is giving us her inside vamp routine.
Kerry HAS to win Ohio to even have a chance at that mythical but unlikely EV tie. And the Dems have to get some spin out. Ohio is going for Bush but hey, right now there's room for some spin by the Dems.
Also, Estrich, high from some weird powder she'd been snorting, mentioned the impending litigation in Florida. Again, she's the operative they put out there to plant the idea. Although Florida's got Bush by a big enough margin that all those Dem lawyers might as well go home.
On another note, I love the job Barrone's doing for Fox. But it's time to call Florida, Fox. Go on...give it up.
