redsoxliberal (xxx posts) Tue Nov-02-04 10:34 PM Original message Time to face facts... Florida is going for Bush... They are 85% done counting, and we are down 275,000. Ohio, on the other hand, looks pretty good. Cuyahoga is just beginning to report, and we are 100,000 votes down... As it stands now, Kerry will pick up almost 200,000 votes if the current trends continue. We will win PA... and if we can pull out Ohio, then we definitely are still in this thing.
speedoo (xxx posts) Tue Nov-02-04 10:38 PM Response to Original message 10. Yes, I see Kerry winning Ohio. Cleveland will put him over the top. Florida is likely gone, probably because shrub won a lot more Jewish votes this time around. Of course we have PA in the bag, so it will come down to the Midwest and Joe Lockhart is saying Kerry will hold the midwest states. Ohio is the key state, it gives Kerry a margin for error.
mistertrickster (xxx posts) Tue Nov-02-04 10:46 PM Response to Original message 19. I agree I think Florida is gone over to the dark side. Why are you Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 10:47 PM by mistertrickster optimistic about Ohio? Bush is up by five percentage points. Also, Michigan is NOT coming in very good. I don't like the fact that ALL the flipping exit polls seem to be way off . . . Tell me how we're gonna win Ohio. Please!
89% reporting
BUSH 3,210,994 52%
KERRY 2,933,049 47%
This Means KERRY MUST WIN 67% of the remaining vote to tie. This with a lot of the panhandle yet to report, and KERRY's BEST counties BROWARD and PALM BEACH both almost fully reported (Kerry did not reach 67% in either)
Not to mention the Republicans hold a 140,000 vote edge in Absentee ballots not counted!!!
CALL FRIGGIN FLORIDA ALREADY!!!!!
