Stupid question: Wasn't Bunning once a Detroit Tiger? I remember him from my childhood in Detroit.

Speaking of Detroit, I just went to Michigan's secretary of state web site, and saw NO RESULTS at all. :? what is that?

I was 9 years old and living in Philly (and a huge Phillies fan) and will never forget listening on a transistor radio to his perfect game against the Mets. June 21, 1964.

It was Father's Day, btw. And he's the father of nine, and has about 35 grandchildren.

I'm very happy for him tonight. He has been rated as the "most conservative" Senator.
A good man.
