Ken Mehlman is suspicious of the exit poll numbers. Fox just called Virginia for Bush.

Ken is talking about the i-4 corridor. When real numbers come in we're doing better in even the dem areas that we did in 2000. We barely won hispanics last time but we are winning them by a much larger margin this time. (see the media was lying about the hispanic votes all along).

OHIO: Ken said "high numbers and no great advantage for the dems.

THEORY

I have an idea as to why the Bush states are more difficult for the press to call. Many of these have heavily Democrat cities...and when the rural areas vote Bush, the early lead is for the conservative. Networks wait to call the state until they see the turnout/numbers in the urban areas...if they are "typical", then they can call the state.

Just an idea.
