Rather will not concede. Its sickening to hear him say that IF Kerry pulls through, GWB will have won the highest popular vote in the history of this country but lost the EV. They still don't have Ohio in their final EV numbers.

I cna't remember how long ago I took these notes:

On CNN Gergen gets around to the big picture as he sees it. He points out it's historic that Bush wins by 4 million votes

Says republicans pick up all 5 southern senate seats.

Says Dascle's loss is major development in terms of prospects for the president's second term, because republicans feel like they can work with Harry Reid who will be minority leader. He is pro-life. .

Gergen says the size of the president's victory is impressive.

NBC David Gregory tells Brokaw that Karl Rove is most anxious for the networks to call New Mexico and Nevada. And I think this obstinance of the mainstream media , especially Tom Brokaw, refusing to do that is obviously another proof they are a part of the Kerry campaign.

But now Brokaw gives Minnesota to Kerry, no problem for him to make that claim. ___________________________________________________________

Brian Williams says, for all the talk about they youth vote, they didn't show up any greater than they did in 2000.
