The Hildebeast still has to get reelected for her Senate seat. She's going to face a bruising challenge from Al Sharpton for the primary nomination, then will lose to Rudy G because of losing black votes alienated in the process of defeating Sharpton. She'll be in a greatly weakened position for the 2008 nomination race, and Edwards will be her main challenger, as the onus of this loss will fall on Kerry.

I didn't realize sharpton would run -- will he not be dissuaded, tho? dead cat, sick grandchild, missing fbi files???
