There is a bogus batch of exit polling numbers, supposedly released by what used to be the VNS, showing Kerry winning several key states. Don't feel bad about being suckered. They fooled Drudge and aparrently K-LO at National Review. But they are absurd on the face. Republican sources say Pennsylvania is tied, these reports say Dems are leading by TWENTY points. They even list Michigan twice.
Is there anything they won't stoop to?
If the 20 point lead isn't a dead giveaway, I don't know what is.
Two notes:
* I'm inferring they are what K-Lo saw, because they match what she says. But she did not list all the states, including the Pennsylvania results.
* Initially, they listed "MI" twice, with two different sets of numbers. The last batch I saw lists "Mich" and "MI."
I agree. Geez, it's early in the day, these breathless reports are getting ridiculous in my opinion.
You're right. I posted what Drudge had up and 2 seconds later when I looked again they were gone. I agree, let's wait to hear confirmation form the Bush camp. This is getting ridiculous.
I thought ONLY AP was doing the polls.
I hope the tens of thousands of free republic readers each post their own vanity describing their opinion about exit polls right now!
Hope someone told Drudge!!!
How about the fact that the source of the poll was reported to be VNS, yet VNS was dissolved after the 2000 election and no longer exists.
DAMMIT! What are you STUPID?!!! Did I not say explicitly that I was referring to the bogus numbers posted by K-Lo? SO you go and post them!
we can only hope
How funny; NRO saying not to post them when THEY are the ones posting them!
ENOUGH!
NRO got tricked big time. Conservatives HAVE GOT to continue voting regardless of what the MSM says.
>>>The major networks have it Bush -4 in Ohio, -4 in Fla, -1 in NN, -1 Mich, and -2 in Iowa...according to National Review Magazines 'The Corner'
Guess what - it's bogus.
I don't even think they can legally release numbers until the polls close. This whole exit polling should be outlawed. It has changed the results of elections, I'm certain.
People...remember in 2000? About this time of day, Drudge ran headlines screaming that Gore was President based on the exit polls.
1. These exits don't yet count GOP voters who actually have a job and vote after work tonight. The union people get the day off in some instances.
2. Dan Rather and his exit pollers are doing this at place like Precinct 12 in Philadelphia, PA. They aren't doing this at a zillion rural towns which are going 80% Bush and will have record turnout.
Everyone calm down....if anything, all this means is the race is tight, and GW won't win big.....but we all knew that beforehand.
But early sample was based on a 59- 41 women to men ratio... MORE...
