After voting this morning in Crawford, Texas with hs family, President Bush made a last minute stop in Columbus, Ohio today to thank supporters and workers. The President also surprised many by making a few personal phone calls. The Bush family will be headed to Washington later today to follow the election returns in our nation's capital. Get ready for your daily dose of Dubya- and another four years of George W. Bush and the day in the life thread!
QUOTE OF THE DAY: (To a doubter on the other end of a campaign phone call) I promise you, it's me.

A good way for Freeps in safe states to help the battlegrounds.
Thank you for this. I need to see something besides an exit poll.

Hi Ho.....early dose...yippppeeeee!!! Tummy on pins and needles..........GO BUSH!!! Tks Rintense! Are you as nervous as am?
Where did you see an exit poll? From what state? What did it say?
I agree.. but a favorable exit poll would reduce my stress greatly
Thanks! I like the home-made sign ..."No phone number left behond!" HA!
Hello everyone. I voted about 10:30 this morning at my church. We have 2200 registered voters there and I was 713. There were about 100 or more people in line and since it was drizzling they tried to get everyone inside the church so they would not get wet. There were a lot of elderly people there and one lady was on crutches. But, they voted!
***Are you as nervous as am?***
Can I answer that? YES! But I'm optimistic, at least now . . . have been praying all day . . .
Listening to Rush with the TV on mute, only to un-mute when the Pres. comes on.
This is a happy thread, not a scary one!
I'm avoiding everything today, except this.
I have been very calm--being on the prayer list has helped, but now I'm getting a little nervous.
