Put info and links about Texas here.
Voted last monday. Hoping for a clean sweep of all the new districts.
voted 2 wks ago. seems like an eternity.
All my liberal friends here in Travis County have decided since their vote doesn't matter in Texas to vote for Nader or interestingly enough Badnarik.
Love it! Maybe enough of 'em will monkey around and Bush will win the county this year!

Voted last Wednesday. There has been really heavy turnout here in conservative central Texas, just like everywhere else.
Waiting nervously for results many, many time zones away.
The irony is, I'm in a new district that spreads from Harris to Travis. My future rep, McCaul, lives in Austin, I'm in Tomball. It's not really ideal, but it is kinda funny to think about those Austinites being represented by a Republican because they redistricted a bunch of Houston suburbanites into an Austin district.
Good grief!! Where did you hear that???
I think that wuld happen along about the time I was lacing up my ice skates for that skating party in Hell.
Very long lines here (Fort Worth). The wait is averaging about an hour and 10 minutes. And this is with no serious local issues on the ballot, and almost all races below the President uncontested.
Don't worry, I was of course kidding...A NE lib would never get a Texas vote.
Arlington here, it is raining, and my husband said that the people he works with that are going for Kerry have said in the past that they don't vote in the rain. I hope it just poors and that my husbands worker is right!
Dittos here - thought I might be #1, but was in the top 10.
Glad to know you got your ballot. Stay safe!
DH and I went to vote this morning. We arrived and realized that the polling place had been moved. Luckily, the school where we had previously voted had nice people up front to point us where to go. We waited about 30 minutes to vote.
The polling place moved? If you were a Democrat, you could call yourself disenfranchised! :)
My wife and I voted early last week....
Now we just have to set back and wait to see what happens. It will be God's will whatever happens.

Voted in Spring this morning. Rather uneventful. Had a lady in front of me that had no registration, her name wasn't on the list, and her ID was a California drivers license.
Hour and a half wait at precint 0312 in lewisville.
